This is an amazing off-road adventure to enjoy the day in the region of
Chania.
Our first stop will be at the Gorge of Therissos, where we can get familiar with the wild side of Crete. This gorge is famous for its vertical cliffs and vegetation.
Our next stop is the traditional village of Lakoi below the White Mountains, where we will have the chance to experience the authentic Cretan hospitality.
It’s an impressive village, where most of the houses cling to steep slopes covered in olive and chestnut trees.
We keep on to our journey to the mountain and reach up to an altitude of 1700 meters. There, we can admire a fantastic view of the Samaria Gorge and the Libyan Sea, a truly magnificent scenery.
Then, the road leads us to a taverna, where we are going to have a complete traditional lunch high in the mountain, which offers a breathtaking view!
Our last stop will be at the location of the most ancient Olive Tree of the world, a true symbol of eternity.
